What are we looking for in our IT Technical Writer ?
Position: IT Technical Writer
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $40-$50/HR DOE
Contract: 4 Months (Extension Likely)
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with technical documentation including architecture diagrams, process flows, building presentations, technical writings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with process engineers or similar to document the new procedures as they are designed and implemented
- Self-starter and detail oriented with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong writing, editing and communication skills.
- Superior attention to details.
- Aptitude for quickly building an understanding of complex technical concepts and ability to translate concepts to documentation
- Development of use cases/test cases, participation in SIT/UAT testing
- Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.
- Plan, research, and draft user documentation that makes using complex products effortless for end-users and administrators.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience that sets our users up for success.
- Enhance accepted technical writing methodologies, procedures, and quality objectives.
