Location: San Jose, CA. / KSJC

 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

 

Description: 

 

Under minimal supervision, performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and repairs of assigned aircraft and ensures compliance to company policies and procedures regarding airworthiness standards. Utilize MyCMP.Net for maintenance tracking and record keeping. Maintain currency through continued education, industry forums and conferences. This position reports to Maintenance Supervisor and or the Director of Maintenance. 

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

•      Complying with inspections, standards, methods and procedures per all applicable CFRs and OEM recommendations to meet airworthiness standards. 

•      Completes proper inspection records, reports and forms required by the CFRs or OEM  recommendations. 

•      Participates in the Safety Management System. 

 

Duties include but not limited to: 

•      Performs maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and alterations according to the OEM recommendations and current CFRs. 

•      Maintains and repairs shop ground support equipment. 

•      Assumes any duties delegated by the Maintenance Supervisor and or Director of Maintenance. 

•      Rotational shifts include nights, early AM, weekends, and holidays as required.

•      Travel and occasional extended duty assignments for offsite support of company aircraft, attend applicable training, industry forums and conferences.

 

Requirements include:

•      Must hold and maintain a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.

•      Applicable aviation work experience of 4 years or more. (Gulfstream Aircraft Preferred)

•      Owns a basic set of tools.

•      Have a valid US Passport.

•      Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
