Company Information:

We are seeking a highly motivated experienced safety coordinator that is dynamic and has outstanding communication skills, and is proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office platforms. You must have the ability to communicate and convey information via email, text, and cell phone. This position will require you to work outdoors as you will be subject to the elements at times. You must be prepared.

The duties will include:

  • Have the ability to perform Level 1 Inspections on all Class A Equipment.
  • Travel to customer sites
  • Auditing driver and owner operator logs to follow all the DOT rules and regulations.
  • Summarize reports on discrepancies, errors, and violations.
  • Communicate with Drivers and Sub-Contractors daily to make sure they are in full compliance and within their hours of service.
  • Perform weekly driver training and daily road testing.
  • Perform annual review of driver performance.
  • Conduct safety reviews and compliance.
  • Review Safety related events from camera systems and add to weekly safety meeting.
  • Valid Driver license
  • Administrative Writing Skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Organization Skills
  • Professionalism at all times.
