Big Sky Bravery is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 solely dedicated to serving active-duty Special Operations Forces through our Task Forces. Task Forces (weeklong programs) take place in Montana’s restorative surroundings. Overview:

Big Sky Bravery is seeking a well-organized and efficient Executive Assistant to provide support to Big Sky Bravery’s CEO. As an Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will serve as the primary point of contact and right hand to our Chief Executive Officer. Your role will focus on providing high-level administrative support, managing the CEO's schedule, coordinating meetings, and handling a variety of tasks with precision and confidentiality. You will play a crucial role in enabling the CEO to focus on strategic priorities and key initiatives, serving as a trusted liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. Additionally, this person must uphold the core values of the organization and high standards of conduct, which include confidentiality, trust, and respect for our nation's military. This position reports directly to the CEO. This is a full-time position based at our office in Bozeman, MT. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Management: Organizing and managing the executive's schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Meeting Support: Assisting with meeting preparation, document distribution, and taking minutes during Board meetings.
  • Communication: Handling incoming email and other correspondence on behalf of the executive, and responding or redirecting as necessary.
  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinating travel plans, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, for CEO & staff for Roadshows & all staff trips.
  • Gatekeeping: Acting as a gatekeeper for the executive by prioritizing requests to manage their time effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, donors, and other executives.
  • Project Support: Assisting with special projects or initiatives as needed, which may involve research or coordination with other team members.
  • Problem Solving: Being resourceful and proactive in solving problems and addressing any issues that may arise in the course of supporting the executive.
  • Personal tasks for CEO: family travel arrangements, minimal errands and some personal appointments
  • Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and company matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and streamline administrative workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 5 years of experience in administrative support roles, with at least 5 years as an executive assistant to senior management.
  • Sales experience is a plus


Work Environment:

  • Required to be in office Monday-Friday
  • Work hours: M-Thurs 8:30am-4pm & Fri. 8:30pm-12pm
  • Must be available to actively participate in all large fundraising events; we operate as an all-hands-on-deck team.


Compensation:

Dependent on experience. Benefits package included.
