RESPONSIBILITIES:
Price Monitoring & Adjustment:
- Conduct daily reviews of the irregular prices report to identify and address pricing inconsistencies.
- Follow up with suppliers to rectify any pricing errors.
Invoice Management:
- Ensure timely entry of invoices into the inventory management software upon delivery to streamline the payment process.
Inventory Maintenance:
- Regularly review and update inventory items, adjusting prices and quantities as needed.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and input data into the system for the merchandise sector.
Purchasing & Supplier Coordination:
- Manage purchases and orders efficiently, maintaining clear communication with suppliers for merchandise-related items.
Audit & Compliance:
- Conduct audits comparing enterprise sales with store purchases, quickly identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
Support Functions:
- Provide assistance to the procurement and accounting departments by undertaking additional tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software such as Marketman.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
- Ability resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
