Duration: Full-time Direct Hire

Location: Hybrid in Wauwatosa, WI with Tues./Thurs. in office

Compensation: Commensurate with experience


Product Information:


The company developed two software products, an ecommerce product customization platform that allows shoppers to personalize, customize, and configure products as well as an enterprise, B2B ecommerce platform with a rich set of built-in features to easily manage content, site search, product information, and multi-store functionality.


Job Summary:


In this role, you will lead the product planning processes for a vertical market, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth. Additionally, you will develop and execute product strategies, from conception to launch, for vertical markets ensuring alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive the entire product lifecycle for a particular vertical, including market research, competitor analysis, roadmap development, technology partnerships, and product launch
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, guiding engineering teams through prototyping and final development stages
  • Create comprehensive product strategy documents outlining business cases and business requirements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, QA, release, and communication/training
  • Collaborate with marketing to create product positioning and messaging that highlights company unique value proposition in the vertical markets


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of proven experience in software product management, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
  • Strong communication skills, including writing, editing, and presentation abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design, engineering, or related field


Nice-to-haves:


  • Previous experience in ecommerce product management
  • Experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Demonstrated success in product development in a non-managerial role
  • Technical background is a plus
