**Summary**: The OTG Manager directs and coordinates activities involved in providing the careful delivery of products to customers at business or residential locations. The OTG Manager ensures efficient delivery of pre-ordered items, accuracy of processing various payment types and return transactions. The OTG Manager is required to assist customers and maintain complaint resolution as needed with an energetic demeanor. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by Metcalfe’s Market. This position requires working mornings evenings, weekends and holidays, based on department staffing requirements.

**Essential Duties**: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Ensures timely payment and processing of customer orders, gas expenses and other transactions and maintains accurate records and cost control reports
- Supports the department’s staff efforts and work through timely response to questions, with a caring and appreciative attitude and demonstrated effectiveness in dealing with employee issues.
- Conducts inventories and cycle counts as required.
- Develops and achieves the departmental budget, such as departmental contribution to overhead, margin, gross profit, labor and purchase goals.
- Directs and schedules department personnel and activities; including timekeeping
- Provides insight and input in department personnel decisions such as hire, discipline, reward and termination.
- Ensures proper training to all employees
- Maintains accurate personnel records for all direct reports
- Maintains a safe work environment for employees, vendors and customers.
- Observes sales floor and back stock conditions; takes action to correct areas of opportunity
- Monitors and addresses customer issues or questions.
- Sustains a high level of product knowledge, services and product preparation
- Works toward continuous quality improvement
- Stays current with changing company technology, including software programs
- Leads, coaches, teaches and reinforces Metcalfe’s culture, customer service, and performance expectations to all Department employees.
- Upholds, supports, and promotes all company policies and procedures
- Follows safe food handling and local health department standards.
- Other duties as assigned

**Supervisory Responsibilities**: The OTG Manager has supervisory responsibility for the Department including approximately ten (10) direct reports.

**Qualifications**:To perform this job successfully, the OTG Manager must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.

Education/Experience:

- High School diploma/equivalent required, Associate’s degree (A.A.) or technical school training preferred
- One or more years of management/supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Previous fast food or courier delivery experience
- Must have strong people management skills
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse crew in a stressful environment.
- Thorough knowledge of the retail food business, thorough knowledge of department operations, must be able to make timely and effective decisions.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a diverse, fast-paced and stressful environment.
- Knowledge of technology, the use of a computer, and Microsoft Office
- More specifically, Outlook, Word and Excel

Language Skills:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:
Reasoning Ability:

- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

- Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record
- Food Safety Certification, Preferred
