Senior Information Technology Business Consultant


12 Month Contract (Possible Extension or Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid-Onsite/Remote)


* Must be able to work onsite 2-3 days per week

* Must be able to work on a W-2


Job Description


Demonstrate general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.

Experience in process optimization, improvement, and/or process automation is required

An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates.


A demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex consulting engagements, including roles that involved managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives

Excellent interpersonal communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives, and the community at large.


Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.

Experience in IT process optimization, improvement, and/or process automation is required.

Highly motivated and driven with ability to think strategically and take on initiatives.

Able to work in fast-pace, changing environment.

Attention to detail and proven analytical skills.

Ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners.


Work cross-functionally with key business partners to help establish strategic goals and objectives, project objectives, and set expectations on functional scope.

Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to determine project and application requirements.

Analyze the organization's IT Professional Services business model and define its policies and market approaches.


Elicitation of business and user requirements needed to conduct current state analysis.

Manage stakeholder needs and expectations, and communicate effectively for ongoing project progress visibility.


Business process modeling can be described as creating a map of what happens within a business, detailing how tasks are carried out, by whom, and in what order. By modeling their processes, companies can see the full picture of how they operate with transparency into even the most complex of processes.

Communicate effectively with various cross functional and technology teams (app dev, deployment, testing, project)


Skill Requirements


  • Must have 8-10 years' experience as Business Analyst, IT consulting
  • Large, enterprise project experience ranging in size from $1million+
  • Experience working with C-Suite and communicating cross-functionally
  • Ability to define work processes and lead team members in successful implementations
  • Ability to influence change across both team and leadership levels through relationship building and collaboration.


EDUCATION


B.A/B.S. degree required; Digital Marketing, Information Sciences, or Emerging Media is preferred.
