Document Management Specialist

The Document Management Specialist is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
The Analyst, Document Management, monitors inbound documents to Accounts Payable including image resolution and request processes, monitoring cancelled documents and supports document retrieval..
- Monitors all inbound documents to Accounts Payable
- Supports image resolution and request processes
- Works through resolution of basic issues with vendor
- Escalates broader issues to the post production support / technology team
- Monitors cancelled documents for correspondence that needs to be rerouted
- Supports document retrieval requests as needed
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Skills and Abilities:
Mathematical Skills
- Business Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Foundational Computer Skills -- Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
- Moderate Computers Skills -- Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.
- Foundational Communication Skills -- Simple messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records. May explain and offer guidance on routine procedures.
