Responsibilities:


  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of family law matters from inception to resolution, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property division, and other related issues.
  • Client Representation: Provide representation to clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Legal Research and Drafting: Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case status, answer questions, and offer legal advice.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties, working toward amicable resolutions when possible.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in family court and other relevant legal settings, advocating on their behalf with professionalism and confidence.
  • Compliance: Ensure all legal actions are compliant with current laws and regulations, staying updated on changes in family law.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in California; in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Experience in family law
  • Strong understanding of family law and related legal principles.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
