Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Independently handle family law cases from inception to resolution, including courtroom litigation.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on family law issues, ensuring well-informed legal strategies.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and analyze legal documents with precision, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate complex legal matters with empathy and clarity to clients of varying levels of sophistication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys on complex cases, and effectively communicate with outside attorneys, senior management, clients, and support staff.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients at depositions, mediations, and hearings.
  • Billable Hours Management: Track and manage billable hours, ensuring that all client and case management obligations are met.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law.
  • Active license to practice law in California is required.
  • Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) designation or eligibility is a plus.
