JOB TITLE: Sales and Business Development Representative
REPORTS TO: President
POSITION: Full-Time
PAY RATE: Exempt
Summary:
The Louver Shop is seeking a motivated, high-energy, high-performing sales professional to join our team as Sales and Business Development Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. In this role, you will play a critical role in expanding our network and opening new markets.
Key Duties /Responsibilities:
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets.
- Execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand into new markets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with dealers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition to dealers and potential customers.
- Understand industry-specific landscapes and trends.
- Provide data on potential factors that could shift tactical budgets and strategic direction.
Qualifications and Capabilities:
- Previous experience (5 years) as a sales or business development manager
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- In-depth understanding of in-home and consultative sales techniques.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Proven ability to positively position products against competitors.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated hands-on approach and an ability to work effectively in a team-based environment across all levels of organization.
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent required.
- Window treatment experience preferred.
