What the Executive and Communications Assistant does:

  • Manage scheduling for company CEO.
  • Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of company CEO.
  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics.
  • Answer and respond to phone calls, communicating messages and information to the CEO.
  • Prioritize emails and respond when necessary.
  • Maintain various records and documents for company CEO.
  • Facilitate communication with the Board, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in event and meeting planning.
  • Manage and write for the non-profit's social media channels.
  • Compose e-newsletters and development communications.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Prior experience in administrative roles such as assistant, program assistant, or executive assistant positions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and multitasking abilities; with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Capacity to initiate and self-direct.
  • Basic understanding of commonly used computer software and programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, Neon).
