Job Overview:

The Director of Project Management / Site Head role at Taikun entails overseeing and ensuring the proactive delivery of excellent client services across all stages of clinical projects. This includes client administration, project planning and execution, and delivery of finished project collateral throughout the project life cycle. The position requires effective management of project timescales, milestones, budgets, and service quality, particularly focusing on secondary packaging, storage, and distribution of clinical trial drugs. To ensure that all processes are performed in accordance with regulations as well as internal procedures, such as cGMP.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment of clinical protocols and other client-supplied study specifications, collaborating with Business Development (BD) to design comprehensive clinical supply solutions tailored to trial requirements.
  • Provide data and technical input to BD to assist in the development of proposals.
  • Oversee coordination and communication of all relevant activities, internally and externally, to ensure projects are initiated according to client requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate provision of data and information to clients, including billing and reports.
  • Ensure timely readiness of documents and materials for project launches, collaborating closely with the Operations and Quality teams.
  • Organize or participate in client meetings as necessary, such as business reviews.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and upgrades of services, processes, and facilities to support sustainable business activities.


Site Head Duties:

  • Oversee overall operations and performance at the site, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet project demands and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Uphold regulatory compliance and quality standards across all site activities.
  • Drive initiatives to improve site processes, infrastructure, and capabilities.
  • Act as a liaison between site staff and corporate leadership, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the site.


Leadership Requirements:

  • Provide strategic leadership in the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging innovation and professional development.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting skill development and career progression.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.


Background & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience managing clinical trial projects, with a strong understanding of secondary packaging, storage, and distribution of clinical trial supplies.
  • Demonstrated experience in client management and leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmaceuticals, science, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Practical understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
  • Experience in clinical packaging is essential
