Talent Acquisition Specialist

This position will provide recruiting expertise, maintain an applicant tracking system, and support VTI Senior Recruiter's established sourcing systems. As a Recruiter and Talent Advisor, you willaddress unique needs and spikes in hiring volume and assist in developing the temporary and full-time employee pipeline.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting and creatively sourcing and hiring talent in a geographically dispersed organization. You will report directly to VTI senior recruiter for daily instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with VTI Senior Recruiters regularly and proactively to identify hiring needs.
- Conduct full cycle recruiting including sourcing, phone screens, interviews, and reference checks.
- Update job descriptions and postings.
- Source a pipeline of technical candidates by utilizing our internal database, sourcing partners, job boards, networking, referrals, andsocial media.
- Proactively research and evaluate new sourcing ideas and methods to create innovative strategies.
- Develop a network of business and candidate contacts.
- Provide recruiting metrics to the VTI Operations Team
- Establish relationships with active and passive candidates for current or future openings.
- Support Senior Recruiter, Business Development group, and HR with onboarding new candidates.
- Understand immigration policies to recruit foreign national resources to support VTI's domestic (USA) and international. (preferred but not a requirement)
- A four-year college degree in a related discipline
- Musthave 2+ years of successful experience recruiting validation and technical resources for contract/consultant roles and FTE candidates in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology,Biologics,Medical Devices, or Life Sciences Industries in one or more of the following disciplines: GMP Manufacturing Equipment and Facilities, Commissioning, Qualification, Validation and Automation
- Ability to assist with reporting, audits, or other assigned recruiting functions.
- Must be able to partner with an Operations team to ensure a smooth sourcing and hiring process.
- Coordinate interviews and other recruiting activities
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Self-confidence and a self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
