Position Details:

  • Title: Accounting/Finance Controller
  • Location: Staten Island, NY
  • Reports to: CFO (dotted line to COO)
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary plus bonus (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Lead accounting functions across Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and uphold strong financial controls.
  • Drive inventory management and accurate costing, critical to the company's success.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to influence business strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and optimize inventory accounting, enhancing financial transparency.


What You'll Need:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a Controller role within distribution, wholesale, or supply chain.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Expertise: Strong command of GAAP, ERP systems, and inventory management.
  • Skills: Analytical prowess, leadership, and excellent communication abilities.
