Job Summary:


We are actively seeking a Controls Project Engineer to join our innovative team in Orange, CA. This vital role is designed for a professional with a strong background in building automation and control systems, ready to manage and enhance project execution to meet client specifications and industry standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Engineer and manage building automation and controls projects from the design phase through to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Lead project teams, fostering a cooperative and productive environment to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
  • Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders, providing updates and reports on project status and progress.
  • Keep detailed records of project activities and documentation to ensure compliance and quality control.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management within the building automation or controls industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting controls, and security system integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial management, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of managing client relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Local to Orange, CA, or willing to relocate, with a stable work history and commitment to professional growth.
