As a Senior IT Specialist for BSS Run, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing IT operations across multiple countries, divisions, and domains. Leading both offshore and onsite teams, you will collaborate closely with service partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality support for Global, Divisional, and local systems. Your expertise in SAP ERP environment, particularly in SAP-SCM, SAP-PTP, SAP-APO, and SAP-Ariba, will be essential in driving the success of support-related activities. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a deep understanding of business requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage offshore and onsite teams to effectively support Global, Divisional, and local systems.
  • Partner with BRMs and Regional IT contacts to align support functions with business needs.
  • Provide oversight of business requirements and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and metrics.
  • Accountable for end-to-end support, monitoring service level infractions, and developing new SLAs as needed.
  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders with diverse objectives to maintain and improve service levels.
  • Conduct regular service reviews and audits to evaluate provider performance and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with Abbott policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Interface directly with the business to understand concerns, define requirements, and communicate incident status.
  • Manage IT process compliance with corporate, divisional, and local policies and procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact for audits or Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) as needed.
  • Identify and address continuity/disaster recovery requirements and execute disaster recovery tests.
  • Foster collaboration among IT teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a complementary business field.
  • 10-13 years of experience in IT, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Prior management experience is required.
  • Strong problem determination and resolution skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Excellent collaboration and partnering skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in business terms.
  • Knowledge of business environment, service requirements, and culture.
  • Process skills, including understanding of process costs and ability to ensure effective operations.
  • Ability to achieve results through others and establish relationships.
  • Firm but fair approach to operational deliverables.
