Boon has an exciting career opportunity for a Retirement Plan Account Manager. The Retirement Plan Account Manager is responsible for Day-to-Day service and client satisfaction for our Retirement Plan book of business.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as primary contact for client accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to address client concerns and questions in a prompt and attentive manner.
  • Research retirement plan-related questions and draft client response.
  • Assist clients with Form 5500 data collection and timely filings.
  • Compose client communication campaigns.
  • Conduct annual enrollment meetings and provide participant-level administrative support.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address issues.
  • Schedule client meetings, develop call agendas and draft call summaries with action items.
  • Identify risks of client attrition and implement solutions to increase client retention.
  • Display logical, work-oriented, and analytical thought processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the employee benefits/retirement industry (401a and/or 401k) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (a business-related major strongly preferred) or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously with varying implementation schedules and service offerings.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate detailed information both internally and through client-facing communications
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Thorough knowledge of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) as related to retirement plans required.
  • Expert computer skills with Microsoft Office 365(Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Smartsheets, and the Internet.
