Pride Health is hiring for a Cytogenetic Technologist to support our client’s medical facility based in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Job Details:

  • Perform sample preparation, harvesting, slide staining, and microscopic analysis.
  • Conduct karyotyping and Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) analysis.
  • Manage lab quality control, equipment maintenance, and record-keeping.
  • Assist in validation studies for new test development.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Medical Laboratory Science.
  • Certifications: ASCP certification in Cytogenetics or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, ability to work with biohazardous materials, and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Location: Charlotte, NC 28208
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM, with rotating on-call and holiday coverage
  • Pay Range: $27.00 - $42.59 per hour


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
