Vaco is working with a company in the Trucking industry who is looking for a well experienced Drayage Dispatcher to help support their Dispatching efforts. Experience working as a Drayage Dispatcher at either the Port of Long Beach, or Port of LA is highly preferred for this role, as well as being Bilingual in Spanish. This opportunity will be located in Long Beach and will be fully in the office. The hours for this role will be Tuesday- Friday 11am-8pm, and Saturday from 6am-3pm. This opportunity is direct hire and is looking to pay between $28-$30/hr.

Job Duties:
  • Dispatch containers in accordance to workload and organize, strategize and prioritize driver pool
  • Maintain communication with customer service and help resolve customer/shipper issues
  • Maintain dispatching system with accuracy
  • Monitor import and export containers termination status
Job Qualifications:
  • Over 2 years of experience working as a Drayage Dispatcher required for role
  • Experience working in the Port of Long Beach or Los Angeles highly preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
  • Experience working with Trinium or other Dispatching software preferred
