Position: Call Center Representative

Location: Redford, MI

Duration: 6 month contract + possibility of extensions

Must Haves:

  • Experience working in a customer service capacity
  • Technical understanding of vehicles or the automotive industry (retail exp, call center experience, technician experience)

Plusses:

  • Education background in engineering or automotive fields
  • Prior experience providing support or troubleshooting for engines or powertrain

Day to Day:

An employer is looking for a Call Center Representative in the Redford, MI area. This person will be responsible for handling inbound calls in a call center environment. This person will be handling calls for dealerships and distributors in the local area. The employee will be responsible for helping technicians troubleshoot powertrain issues in all types of vehicles. These candidates should be comfortable providing support over the phone and working through a troubleshooting list with technicians. This position is intended to help with the influx of phone calls to the call center during the spring and summer months.


Compensation:

$15/hr to $20/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
