Senior Project Manager – Real Estate Acceleration and Operations

As a Senior Project Manager within our Real Estate Acceleration and Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the infrastructure projects aimed at building and remodelling a significant number of stores annually. This role requires a blend of basic project management skills, a drive for continuous learning, and the courage to tackle challenges head-on. While past construction experience is highly preferred, it is not mandatory, but the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects is essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, scoping, and scheduling of infrastructure projects to support the expansion and remodeling goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to drive project execution, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
  • Apply Waterfall project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and dependencies effectively to key stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and teamwork to achieve project goals and objectives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in infrastructure or construction-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, with experience in Waterfall project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project execution in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus, but not mandatory.
