Job Title: Cash Apply Coordinator
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Employment type: Contract/hybrid
Location: Cincinnati Area (Local Candidates Only)
Work Schedule: Must be available to work onsite 3 days a week
General Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Apply Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing insurance payments from clients and applying them to the appropriate system invoices. You will research insurance claim payments in the AS/400 system to identify the correct claims based on customer information, date of service, and service/material procedure codes. Your focus will be on continuously improving research methods and processing transactions efficiently.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply cash, member bills, resubmit invoices, handle write-offs, and other related transactions.
- Follow data processing guidelines to meet departmental standards.
- Communicate with the supervisor regarding transactions processed in a timely manner.
- Identify and recommend modifications to systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience:
- Working knowledge of mainframe computers and systems, such as AS/400.
- Understanding of third-party benefits and administration.
- Ability to meet a minimum keystroke requirement of 10,000 per hour with less than a 2% error rate.
- High level of detail orientation and flexibility to work in both team and individual environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong work ethic.
Education:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
