Position Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Fort Worth, TX-Downtown, 76102 (on-site)

Pay Rate: Up to $22/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45am - 4:45pm

Job Description: The accounts payable clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying accuracy, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. In addition to keeping accurate records, monitoring payments, and ensuring timely payments, they will be responsible for ensuring payments are made on time. The person in this role will assist in managing vendor relationships and ensure timely payments are made in order to maintain good standing. Additionally, they will assist with the month-end closing process and assist the finance team with various administrative tasks. Effective communication and strong organizational skills are essential to this role.

  • Organize invoices by category on a daily basis

  • Check for accuracy and completeness

  • Verify all payments are processed

  • Follow up on any unpaid invoices.

  • Use Sage Payroll to process payroll

  • Responsible for all AP invoice processing

  • Ensure accurate and complete data entry

  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies.

  • Maintain a payment tracking system for invoices

  • Perform front-office administrative duties, including outgoing and receiving calls

  • Maintain filing systems for various types of documents

  • Management of employee and vendor records

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Must be able to type 40 WPM

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel (will be tested)

  • Must have at least 3 year experience in accounts payable

  • GAAP Knowledge
