Job title: Enterprise Architect

Employment Type: Contract/Remote

Pay rate: $66-$77/hr, DOE

Responsibilities:

  • A Enterprise Architect applies their management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to support complex projects in applying organizing principles and methods of enterprise architecture.
  • Methods of enterprise architecture include IT business systems development and technical solutions that align with the business process. This is accomplished through requirements analysis, needs assessments, and selection and implementation of integration strategies including lifecycle sustainability.
  • The Enterprise Architect will provide subject matter expertise in industry, and have specific knowledge of methods including architect enterprise strategy, enterprise architecture development and management; business process design and re-engineering; investment decision making and support for solution architecture development/management; and support the attainment of business strategy and its alignment with processes and information technology strategy.

Requirements:

  • knowledge and technical expertise in standards and technologies to support complex business analysis, solution selection, systems design, and application integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of applying Enterprise Architecture principles. At least five (5) years of that experience must be in a lead capacity.

Nice to have skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • Possess knowledge and technical expertise in: - SQL and Relational Databases such as Oracle, SQL Server; - Designing & developing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, views, debugging & tuning complex queries for optimal performance; - UNIX shell scripts - Python - Java - ETL - ELT - Azure Cloud - Azure Data Factory - Databricks - Data Ops - Data Pipelines design, development, and support; - Git/GitHub; -- Agile Methodologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure Data Factory
  • 5 years of experience in Databricks
  • 5 years of experience in Managing Azure Resources
  • 5 years of experience in automating Azure Data Resources using DataOps
  • 5 years of experience in developing data models and data pipelines using Python
  • 5 years of experience in Lakehouse Platform
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in designing and developing Databricks medallion lakehouse architecture, applying data governance, and data quality best practices.
