Job Description:
The Senior Enterprise Architect will utilize management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to support complex projects that apply enterprise architecture principles. This role focuses on developing IT business systems and technical solutions that align with business processes through requirements analysis, needs assessments, and integration strategies. The Senior Enterprise Architect will guide enterprise strategy, business process re-engineering, and solution architecture, ensuring that business strategies align with both processes and IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply enterprise architecture principles to support business analysis, solution selection, systems design, and application integration.
Lead efforts in enterprise architecture development, strategy, and management.
Support the design and re-engineering of business processes to align with IT strategy.
Provide subject matter expertise on enterprise strategy and architecture to stakeholders.
Conduct investment decision-making to support the development and management of solutions.
Ensure lifecycle sustainability of implemented IT systems.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture with at least 5 years in a lead capacity.
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
Expertise in applying standards and technologies for complex business analysis, systems design, and application integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Atlassian JIRA tool administration and customization (development).
Ability to create custom JIRA templates, issues, workflows, forms, and attributes.
Proficiency in using and extending REST Services provided by Atlassian.
Strong experience with C#, JavaScript, JSON, and SQL for building web applications.
Experience working with Agile Kanban/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confluence administration expertise.
5+ years of experience in the following areas:
Designing custom JIRA workflows for provisioning, building, and deploying software releases and continuous integration workflows.
Developing plugins and gadgets that extend JIRA capabilities using Atlassian Plugin SDK 6.x.
Designing JIRA screens, security and notification schemes, and integrating with external applications like Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook.
Administering, maintaining, upgrading, and enhancing JIRA, Confluence, HipChat, and integrating with other tools and plugins.
Creating JIRA projects, queries, and reports.
