We are currently searching for a Vice President of Operations, based in the Atlanta area, for a rapidly growing, Tennessee-based company. The Vice President of Operations plays a pivotal role on the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This position is tasked with overseeing the company's operational activities, ensuring seamless execution of business strategies, and driving organizational efficiency and effectiveness.


Leading a team of 5, and overseeing operational departments and external vendors, the VP of Operations is responsible for optimizing processes, enhancing performance, and achieving key organizational objectives. Core responsibilities include developing and implementing operational policies, managing daily operations, monitoring KPIs and determining areas that need improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily company operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high performance.
  • Lead Regional Directors and operations teams, driving execution of strategies and operational excellence, as well as developing the regional leadership team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and align long-term operational strategies with company goals.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, address challenges, and optimize performance.
  • Manage the business liability insurance program, overseeing claims processes and resolutions.
  • Partner with the Training Department to develop and implement operational training materials.
  • Strategize and maintain organizational structure, including resource allocation and regional capacity.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and in-person meetings.
  • Implement and monitor service standards, client satisfaction, and retention initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability through effective leadership and team development.
  • Participate in industry events, education programs, and partnerships to stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies.

  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing, developing and guiding teams to achieve goals.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, capable of leading virtual and in-person meetings with diverse group sizes and engaging in on-stage speaking events.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Solid financial expertise, including budget management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.


Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
