Lab Technician 1

  • Support and Engineering Global Lab team provides access to global lab resources and cloud services around the world.

  • We provide network infrastructure and lab services for technical support and engineering.

Lab Technician - Responsibilities:

  • Manage ticketing queue with teammates

  • Lab Infrastructure support for multiple labs

  • Basic configurations for Switch, Access Points, and controllers

  • Resource coordination

  • Inventory control

  • Customer support

  • Sever Farm and Hypervisor management (KVM, RHVL, VMware)

  • Troubleshooting various software and hardware environments

  • Rack and install data center equipment

  • Open communication with various team leaders

Requirements:

  • knowledgeable of server hardware and software

  • knowledgeable of routers and switches

  • knowledgeable of Access Points and controllers

  • knowledgeable of traffic generators and testing equipment

  • knowledgeable of terminal servers and PDU equipment

  • 1-2 years' experience working in a data center environment

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong interest in learning.

  • Dependable.

  • Process-oriented.

  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Must Have:

  • Dependable, great communication.

  • Computer knowledge

  • Must be able to lift 50- 70lbs

Good to have:

  • Hypervisor experience

  • Switches knowledge

Education:

  • High School Degree
