We are looking for a Sales Account Manager, reporting to the Director of North America OTT & Content with the right energy, competitive spirit, personal drive and track record of success in sales and business development.


Responsibilities:


The Candidate will be responsible for

  • Proactively engaging C-Levels on a global scale with high profile named Companies (OTTs, CDNs, System Integrators, Next Gen and Large Corporation)
  • Developing relationships, revenues and business opportunities on a global scale
  • Accountable for business performance and hitting revenue and other performance targets
  • Utilizing Salesforce and providing timely and accurate sales activity updates
  • Effectively produce qualifying leads and performing needed assessment, engaging technical resources
  • Working strategically with Sparkle management to deliver forecasts, identifying trending opportunities/ challenges
  • Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
  • Provide innovative problem-solving approaches to enhance organizational capabilities
  • Use peer network to expand technical and sales capabilities and identify new sales opportunities
  • Provide pertinent market and competitive information to the organization

Requirements:

  • BA/BS, 5+ years of Enterprise Sales / Account Executive experience in an IT or Telecom company
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales quotas
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and upsell/cross-sell services. Excellent skills in communication, technical presentations, and contract negotiation
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of telecommunications basics: IP, Managed Bandwidth, Data Center Services, Cloud and Subsea Cable industry’s dynamics
  • Proven knowledge of Large Corporation, System Integrators and Next Gen Companies on a global scale
  • Proven ability in developing new logos, strong skills in large bid and complex contracts negotiations
  • Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen
  • Must be detail oriented, very well organized, responsible, & self-motivated
  • English speaker; Italian, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
  • Availability to travel within USA and internationally
