Responsibilities:

  • Manage virtual machines, PaaS, SQL management within Azure environment.
  • Assist in server migrations, updates, and Azure runbooks creation.
  • Clean up Azure environment and optimize resources.
  • Build out Azure environment focusing on PaaS, load balancing, and using Azure as a data center.
  • Work on CI/CD pipeline (knowledge of ARM templates is a huge plus).
  • Collaborate with Sys Admin for monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Manage Azure apps, load balancing, and Azure VNET.
  • Integrate enterprise applications with cloud services for seamless data delivery.
  • Develop automation processes for management activities and new solution deployments.
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain cloud environment and services.
  • Ensure maximum application performance through tuning and maintenance.
  • Follow industry best practices and compliance requirements for security.
  • Troubleshoot servers, applications, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Act as a resource for other IT groups project rollouts.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background:

  • Strong experience with Azure Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Change Management processes.
  • Experience managing virtual machines, PaaS, and SQL management within an Azure environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills related to Windows servers, web servers, and databases.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure system integrity.

Hybrid Schedule: 2 days a week onsite, 3 days WFH
