Performs codes and programs systems using Structured Query Language (SQL). Produces accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities using programming languages (Java). Identifies risks and develops contingency plans in anticipation of test automation issues. Implements process improvements within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments -- Agile/Scrum. Crafts and maintains tests frameworks (Junit, Cucumber, and Fitnesse). Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.\u00A0

Participates in architecture design teams.\u00A0
Defines and implements application-level architecture.\u00A0
Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.\u00A0
Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and reviews and validates test plans.\u00A0
Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables.\u00A0
Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.\u00A0
Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.\u00A0
Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.\u00A0
Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.\u00A0
Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.\u00A0
Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues.\u00A0
Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.\u00A0
Advises senior management on technical strategy.\u00A0
Mentors junior team members.\u00A0
Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.\u00A0
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.\u00A0

Education and Experience:\u00A0

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing software engineering testing in an Information Technology (IT) environment.\u00A0\u00A0

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing software engineering testing in an Information Technology (IT) environment.\u00A0

Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) creating domain specific automated testcases using Java/J2EE for functional testing.\u00A0

DE automating APIs using Java, Postman, Oauth, Eclipse, and Junit; and writing User Interface (UI) automated tests using Selenium WebDriver.\u00A0
