NaviSync, a division of NPG Health, is looking to add a Group Art Supervisor to the team The primary responsibilities are leading, managing, and serving as creative lead for our client’s accounts. We are searching for someone with exceptional creative, strategic, organizational and management skills. The Group Art Supervisor assists in managing day-to-day department operations to assure department procedures are supported and adhered to. Other duties include collaboration with management and support teams to ensure client programs are implemented with strategic insight, exceptional creative and outstanding execution.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creative creation and execution for all art-related decisions as it pertains to his or her account.
  • Develop and oversee outstanding design solutions for the company and its clients.
  • Select and place all visual elements of the project, including type, illustration, and photography necessary for the intended material and audience.
  • Layouts should contribute to visual ideas, enhance the attractiveness of the message, and help to clarify and accent its meaning to the audience.
  • Execute and promote the creative and operational vision set forth by the Associate Creative Director
  • Provide day-to-day management assistance and ongoing communications to internal teams regarding design-related material development, ensuring delivery of excellent print, multimedia and online materials.
  • Work closely with Copy and Account Services as a cohesive team player to ensure that strategic goals and objectives are met.
  • Provide art direction to junior creative staff to ensure project objectives are met or exceeded
  • Works within and manages to assigned and budgeted labor hours by job and position level, to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Whenever possible, establish rapport with client and be able to present ideas in an organized, professional, and effective manner.
  • Attend internal meetings with client services, copy, project management and other key personnel to discuss project status, etc.
  • Manage deadlines and work within agreed-upon financial and time budgets
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for agency procedures and workflow
  • Responsible for updating supervisor on project status, as well as reporting any issues or conflicts as they arise.
  • Works well under pressure and is flexible to a changing environment
  • Occasional travel may be required


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in art or related field and/or equivalent work experience/training
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least 6+ years healthcare creative services experience
  • At least 2+ year experience in creative managerial role

 

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

  • Is regarded as the creative thought leader when participating in internal and external meetings and reviews.
  • When meeting with or presenting to clients s/he communicates intelligently and diplomatically.
  • Is confident, open-minded and a team-player.
  • Is passionate about design, is self-motivated, and is quick to meet challenges with strategic thought.
  • Has experience with strategic brainstorming and campaign development.
  • Knowledge of creative strategy and execution as it relates to the healthcare industry, medical marketing and communications
  • Ability to manage projects and processes
  • Ability to manage numerous, complex projects in various stages of life cycle
  • Ability to delegate, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Well-developed understanding of design principles
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, preferably healthcare marketing
  • Ability to apply marketing knowledge to brand building initiative
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
