Role: Media Technician

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Job Description: In this role you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support for meetings, conferences, classes, and corporate-wide broadcasts. From pre-production setup to post-production editing, you will ensure smooth operation of multimedia systems and deliver high-quality content to our global audience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre, prod, and post-production support for various events, including meetings, conferences, classes, and corporate-wide broadcasts.
• Offer user assistance and training on the operation of multimedia systems to staff, faculty, and guests.
• Operate production equipment in both live broadcast and studio environments, including video switchers, audio consoles, encoders, cameras (manned and robotic), lighting consoles, and video conferencing codecs.
• Perform basic post-production editing tasks such as trims, cuts, transitions, bumpers, lower thirds, audio mixing/cleanup, and platform posting.
• Assist with equipment setup, testing, and inventory management for both live and studio productions.
• Track metrics for all production and assist with documentation and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Be available to work extended or non-traditional hours and travel to other offices in the Bay Area approximately twice a month.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a Live Production and/or Studio Production environment operating production equipment as specified.
• 1+ years of post-production experience, including editing, graphics, audio mixing, export, and posting of content.
• BA/BS Degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Certified Technology Specialist Certification.
