Are you passionate about quality assurance and have a keen eye for detail? Do you have a knack for identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Quality Control Technician. This role is pivotal in ensuring the production of high-quality products in our manufacturing facility. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, and implementing quality control standards. This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, proactive, and has a strong understanding of SQF and HACCP programs.

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Technician, your main duties will include:

1. Conducting regular quality inspections and tests to ensure all products meet the set standards.
2. Ensuring compliance with all SQF, HACCP, GMPs, and hygiene regulations.
3. Performing swabbing and other hygiene checks on equipment and personnel to ensure cleanliness.
4. Identifying and addressing potential issues in the production process to prevent quality issues.
5. Providing training to staff on quality control measures and procedures.
6. Working closely with the production team to ensure quality control measures are effectively implemented.
7. Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
8. Participating in regular audits and assisting with the implementation of corrective actions.
9. Collaborating with the management team to improve quality control practices and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Quality Control Technician, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of SQF and HACCP programs.
3. Proven experience with swabbing, GMPs, and hygiene practices.
4. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. A degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
