3D Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Experiential 3D Designer to join our team in Bluffton, SC. As an Experiential 3D Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating immersive and engaging experiences for various projects within the ultra-luxury market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experiential design, proficient in Rhino and V-Ray, and possess experience in creating fabrication drawings. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and collaborate with a dynamic team in a creative environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualization: Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop innovative experiential design concepts that meet client objectives and requirements.

2. 3D Design: Utilize Rhino to create detailed and visually compelling 3D models of experiential spaces, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

3. Rendering: Produce high-quality renderings using V-Ray to visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.

4. Fabrication Drawings: Generate fabrication drawings and documentation, including detailed plans, elevations, and specifications, to facilitate the fabrication and installation of experiential elements.

5. Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and textures for use in experiential designs, considering aesthetics, durability, and budget constraints.

6. Vendor Management: Sourcing, pricing and management of day-to-day creative deliverables.

7. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design solutions within budgetary and timeline constraints.

8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, fabricators, and vendors, to coordinate project execution and ensure alignment with project goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Experiential Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in experiential design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

• Proficiency in Rhino and V-Ray for 3D modeling and rendering is a must.

• Experience creating fabrication drawings and documentation.

• Strong understanding of design principles, spatial planning, and environmental graphics.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.

• Detail-oriented with a passion for creating immersive and memorable experiences.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
