We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Scrum Coach to drive the successful delivery of technology solutions within our patient services organization. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our cross-functional teams in adopting Agile principles and practices to deliver high-quality products and services. You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement throughout the development process.


A typical day in the life of a Scrum Coach will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Serve as a servant leader and facilitator for one or more Agile development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure team alignment and progress towards sprint goals.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, practices, and methodologies, promoting self-organization and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Remove impediments and barriers that hinder team productivity, escalate issues when necessary, and drive resolution to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlog items, refine user stories, and ensure clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor and track sprint progress, burndown charts, velocity, and other metrics to provide visibility into team performance and project status.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate project status, manage expectations, and solicit feedback to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, trust, and continuous learning within the organization, encouraging experimentation and innovation to drive business outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Coach or Agile coach in a technology-driven environment, preferably within the healthcare or patient services industry.
  • Experience in administering Jira and similar Atlassian products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean), with practical experience implementing Agile practices and techniques.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading Agile development teams and driving the delivery of technology solutions from concept to deployment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering value and driving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.


Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • This is an office-based position, the ability to sit for extended periods of time is necessary.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy.
  • Although very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
  • We are located in the River Ridge Commerce Center at 150 Hilton Drive, Jeffersonville, IN. You must be willing to work in this location; PharmaCord does reimburse for tolls if applicable, at the frequent user rate. This rate is applied after 40 trips per month (valued at $624.00 per year).
