Role Overview:
As an Assembler/SMT Inspector, you’ll play a key role in assembling, inspecting, and testing electronic components for product systems. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure that our products meet the highest standards. You’ll work closely with a friendly team that values positive relationships and mutual support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Assemble electronic components and subassemblies with care, following work orders, production drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Inspection: Use magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to inspect and ensure our products meet IPC-610 standards.
  • Testing: Perform go-no-go testing and make sure that all parts and assemblies meet our production specifications.
  • Rework: Handle basic soldering and rework of SMT components as needed.

What You’ll Need:

  • Skills & Abilities: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and work collaboratively with both co-workers and the public.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of electronic assembly and inspection experience is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Fine dexterity with both hands and very good eyesight.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and reach up to 30 inches.

Tools & Equipment:

  • Hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, cutters)
  • Solder pot, hot plate, and soldering iron
  • Microscope and other inspection equipment
