
Quality Inspector

Primary objective is to qualify parts and weldments to customer expectations using inspection hand tools, CMM, and PCMM. Individual parts, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and fixturing are to be primary functions of inspection with the aid of PC-Dmis software. The frequency of inspections is determined by customer or manager. The ability to read detailed drawings and interacting with CAD models is a skill that is essential and will be expected after proper training. Data management will also be utilized to track the traceability of material and parts. Data analysis of inspection reports will be used to find trends to continue to develop better final products. The development of skills for this position will heavily rely on CAD, manufacturing processes, inspection, and data analysis.
