Human Resources Manager

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and/or create employee job descriptions
  • Manage recruiting efforts
  • Manage employment processes, including hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, promotion, transfer, performance evaluations, discipline & corrective action, termination, and exit
  • Manage compensation and administer benefits
  • Create and distribute employee communications
  • Promote employee retention
  • Work closely with other managers and department heads to understand staffing needs
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local human resources regulations and programs

  • Able to quickly recall information
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to think and act independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five years proven HR and leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of federal/state/local labor regulations
  • Finance experience in Commercial Construction or Manufacturing desired
  • Experience with EOS preferred
  • Microsoft Office Software to include Word, Excel, Outlook; Paychex
