The Maintenance Supervisor (3rd Shift) is responsible for the execution of planned and breakdown maintenance of production equipment and facilities. This individual will be utilizing a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program employing preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance techniques with regards to safety, cost, production and environment.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure smooth operation of maintenance and repair functions.

• Operate power tools, powered industrial vehicles, test equipment and fabrication equipment.

• Provide leadership and direction involving the upgrade or installation of equipment, including contracted services.

• Evaluate maintenance staff and develop training plans and budgets.

• Provide input for updating cost forecasts (budget), capital projects and operational costs.

• Participate in indirect material (MRO) inventory management.

• Participate in month end cost and budget evaluation.

• Open, update and close work orders in SAP (CMMS).

• Responsible for KPI reporting.

• All other duties as required.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Trade school or equivalent completion

• Minimum of 3 years’ maintenance supervisor-level experience in a manufacturing/assembly plant.


SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Ability to diagnose and repair various production equipment such as: production assembly; testing equipment; conveyance and torque systems; hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.

• Previous experience with predictive maintenance tools (Thermal Imaging, Ultra Sonic, etc.).

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Knowledge of CMMS (electronic work order system).

• Experience fabricating equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret test equipment.

• Experience with OSHA and MIOSHA standards.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent leadership and time management skills.

• Working ability in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

3rd shift hours: Sunday through Thursday 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., plus every other weekend

NOTE: this is a salaried position, paying overtime after 45 hours.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

10% travel and ability to periodically work non-traditional business hours to support local and international.
