Position Description:

Applies test driven design concepts to test and debut automated solutions and software, using test automation frameworks -- Cucumber and Selenium. Automates the integration of code changes from multiple contributors into a single software project through the use of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices and open source platforms -- Jenkins. Uses programming languages to promote the development of web-based applications -- Java. Uses standardized programming languages -- SQL -- to manage relational databases and perform various operations on the data in them. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects, and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple project supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) using Selenium, CI/CD, SQL, and Java to design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests for web-based applications.

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) using Selenium, CI/CD, SQL, and Java to design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests for web-based applications.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to achieve efficiency, performance, and agility for the deployment of software applications using automated DevOps processes -- Maven, Jenkins, Stash, and Sonar; and writing declarative pipelines and integrating them with DevOps systems jobs.

DE creating and maintaining automation test scripts -- unit, component, integration, functional, scenario, and regression tests; performing automated testing of front-end, User Interface(UI), Web services, and back-end digital platform applications to validate responsive UI designs using Selenium, UFT (Unified Functional Testing),\u00A0 Microsoft Visual studio Coded UI, JMeter, Soap UI, Rational Functional Tester, and database validations.

DE developing and maintaining Selenium based automation scripts, using Java and CI/CD pipelines; and performing test orchestration and reporting using Jenkins.

DE developing automated test scripts, plans, and cases for testing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), using Java, JUnit, Postman, SoapUI, and SQL; writing UI automated tests using Selenium WebDriver; creating hybrid automation frameworks using Selenium, Behavior and Test-Driven Development (BDD and TDD); and integrating automated test cases with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
