Job Description:


At Mindset, we assist those with a mental illness and their caregivers apply for Social Security Disability benefits. Mindset Care is seeking an innovative and dedicated Outreach Associate to lead our outreach efforts and expand our impact within the community. The Outreach Associate will play a key role in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, implementing outreach initiatives, managing our street outreach teams, and promoting our mission to a broader audience.


Key Responsibilities:


  1.  Develop and execute a comprehensive outreach strategy to increase awareness of Mindset Care, its programs, and initiatives within the target community. The Outreach Associate will be responsible for drafting a quarterly initiatives and annual reports.  
  2. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with community organizations, not-for-proft organizations, non-profit, correctional facilities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to support outreach objectives.
  3. Manage and lead outreach campaigns and events, including planning, coordination, promotion, and evaluation, to engage and educate the community about our mission and services.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing and business development team to create compelling outreach materials, including presentations, brochures, social media content, and press releases.
  5. Conduct outreach assessments and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts, track engagement metrics, and identify areas for improvement. Develop comprehensive expansion plans for community growth.
  6. Develop and manage outreach budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful implementation of outreach activities and initiatives.
  7. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to outreach staff and volunteers, including training, supervision, and performance evaluation.
  8.  Represent Mindset Care at community events, conferences, meetings, and speaking engagements to enhance visibility, build relationships, and advocate for our mission.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams, including program managers, business development team,, and advocacy teams, to align outreach efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues related to outreach, community engagement, and nonprofit management.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8 years of experience in outreach, business development, community engagement, in-person user acquisition, or related roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong understanding of community outreach strategies, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing outreach campaigns, events, and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using metrics to measure outreach impact and effectiveness.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results.
  • Passion for social impact, community development, and advancing the mission of Mindset Care.
