Job Description: Automotive Sales


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Manager Sales, Director, or Senior Director in the Automotive Sales division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership within the automotive industry, with a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and effective sales strategies.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets within the automotive sector.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to drive performance and achieve objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including automotive manufacturers, dealerships, and aftermarket suppliers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and market demands.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales processes, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our presence in the automotive market.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the automotive industry
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Deep understanding of automotive market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend events, and support sales activities.
