Requirements:
- Work within the Preconstruction team and coordinate with the COO in the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of estimating (post-bid analysis, projects won/lost, post-construction analysis).
- Responsible for placing pre-bid and post-bid phone calls and scheduling review meetings
- Create subcontracts and purchase orders and manages change-orders
- Recommends best solution for design options based on cost, engineering quality and/or availability of materials
- Coordinates with project management to develop a strategy to execute work, determine critical path milestone schedule and sequence of work to ensure execution in the most cost-effective manner
- Create, monitor, and maintain budgets during pre-construction
- Conduct analysis of the bidding documents to minimize risk and generate a detailed, accurate and cost competitive bid
- Coordinate and manage all bid day activities including preparation of bid day checklists
- Engage in follow-up activities with owners, designers, etc. after the submission of each bid/proposal
