Operations Manager

Description: Cleveland Controls is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Operations Manager to play a key role in overseeing the smooth and efficient functioning of our daily operations.


Salary: $70k - $100k


Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of production, purchasing, inventory, and maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and achievement of departmental goals.

• Develop, implement, and monitor operational processes and procedures, striving for continuous improvement and optimization.

•Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.

•Oversee inventory management, including usage analysis, forecasting demand, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers.

•Assist quality assurance programs and work with quality control personnel to review product consistency to produce products that meet or exceed company standards and consumer expectations.

•Ensure all operations comply with company policies, legal and industry regulations, and OSHA and other safety protocols.

•Ensure that all employees have the necessary training and resources to do their jobs effectively.

•Identify and implement new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

•Prepare and maintain reports on operational metrics and performance indicators (KPIs).

•Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or similar role.

• Proven track record of success in improving operational efficiency and achieving results.

• Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (a plus).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
