We are seeking a talented Hair and Makeup Artist to join our team and help us elevate the visual appeal of our TikTok content.
Job Description: As a Hair and Makeup Artist at High Scale, you will be responsible for creating stunning looks for our content creators and talent. This role requires a creative individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, executing a wide range of styles from glamorous to special effects. You will be expected to prepare multiple talents daily, ensuring they look their best on camera.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep talent with hair and makeup for 5-6 video shoots daily.
- Provide last-minute touchups and standby support during shoots.
- Execute a variety of makeup styles, including glam, colorful, themed, and abstract looks.
- Create diverse hairstyles, including curling, straightening, braiding, and elevated styles.
- Apply prosthetic & SFX makeup (wrinkles, cellulite, bad teeth, etc.) when required.
- Collaborate with content creators and directors to achieve desired looks.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest hair and makeup trends, especially those popular on TikTok.
- Manage and maintain a professional kit with high-quality, camera-ready products.
- Adapt makeup and hair techniques to suit lighting conditions and camera requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven 3+ years of on-set hair and makeup experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of makeup and hair styling skills.
- Proficiency in various makeup styles and hair techniques.
- Experience with prosthetic and SFX makeup application.
- Knowledge of how lighting affects makeup and hair on camera.
- Familiarity with TikTok and other social media platforms.
- Experience working with high-profile talent.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
