Contract Duration: 6 months
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment? We are seeking a dedicated Service Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our IT Service Desk, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality technical support for enterprise software and hardware, ensuring a seamless experience for our end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver superior customer service via phone, online chat, and in-person interactions.
- Actively listen to and empathize with customers to understand their issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, problems, and incidents.
- Resolve conflicts professionally and efficiently.
- Assess, triage, research, train, and resolve incidents and requests related to application software and infrastructure components.
- Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, effective follow-through, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
- Utilize your understanding of technology to support existing systems and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Install, modify, clean, run diagnostic programs, and repair computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
- Create a positive customer support experience, build rapport, and ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a comparable, complex, high-tech environment preferred.
- Technical support experience is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or GED with relevant work experience is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly in a complex environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure setting.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
