Job Description:

Taylor English Duma LLP is seeking a talented and motivated Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join our thriving practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademark, copyright and media litigation as well as trademark prosecution. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes IP disputes.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
  • Manage trademark prosecution docket
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams throughout the litigation process


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Exceptional academic credentials from a top-tier law school
  • Admission to at least one state bar
  • 1-5 years of experience practicing intellectual property litigation, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills
  • Superb writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and professionalism
