Title: HR Specialist.

Location: Tampa, FL.

Pay $25.00 per hour.

Shift 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.


Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team at our plant in Tampa, FL. You’ll be part of a great team who thrives on partnering with our business leaders, supervisors, and employees. You will work directly with and assist the HR Business Partner to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks. You should be highly organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic, and most importantly, personable and approachable.


Essential Duties:

  • responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • directly with and report to the HR Business Partner regarding all HR endeavors.
  • with new hire procedures, including creating employee files, administering handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons.
  • employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Business Partner
  • maintain, and update employee files and HRIS information as needed.
  • positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that arise.
  • a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues; maintains confidentiality regarding all employee-related issues.
  • with special HR projects as assigned.
  • duties in compliance with GAF safety policies and procedures.

Physical Demands:

  • vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • sitting, walking, and standing.
  • use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment.

  • interpersonal skills including a positive outlook toward team members, staff, and company goals.
  • oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
  • organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • understanding of processes, equipment, and product specifications.
  • capability and stamina to fit workplace demands.
